Creating a Documentary by Jordan Frias

For more than two decades, Lexington native Michael Sheridan, 52, has been filming and producing educational advocacy films, focusing on countries in places like Africa and Asia.

Sheridan is the director of Community Supported Film, a documentary storytelling company based in Jamaica Plain, and teaches at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design and Northeastern University.

Sheridan is now focused on training others in the craft of filmmaking. He wants to provide Haitian residents with the tools necessary to create their own short films in a project called Haitian Perspectives in Film.
