Take flight or get rooted – new student videos

October 31, 2024

Michael Sheridan, in addition to his work as Director of CSFilm, teaches filmmaking independently and at MassArt. Students in recent filmmaking courses have produced short films on everything from building and flying model airplanes to homesteading.

A Day in the Air, by JP Parnas

Tiny Things, By Brenna Getzin

JP Parnas and Brenna Getzin took Digital Video: Post-Production + Editing and Documentary Boot Camp. JP also took Digital Video: Camera + Sound. All are seven-week intensives. Both filmmakers produced or finished their shorts during Boot Camp.

The Editing and Camera/Sound courses are part of MassArt’s Digital Certificate program.  Boot Camp is an elective and will be offered in-person at MassArt next summer.

Congratulations to both for the hard work pushing through the steep learning curve.
