Imagine you live in Afghanistan, Haiti, Myanmar or Sudan and you want to raise awareness about the issues you are facing. In these troubled places people are still motivated to use documentary filmmaking to educate and affect change.

Community Supported Film is contacted by people in places like these who want to learn and produce. The instability of their situations, the limited resources and intermittent internet require that they learn and get mentored at their own pace and on their own schedule.

It is opportunities like these that drive our mission to create a free online asynchronous training in lived-reality documentary filmmaking. It is based on our decades of experience teaching filmmaking and working with under- and mis-represented communities.

With your support we can realize this unique vision. But we still have $24,000 to raise before the end of June so that we can begin production. Please contribute what you can. Thank you!
